Albion Basin

This location is seriously heaven on earth. The wild flowers are more than stunning. A few weeks ago I was up there with a beautiful couple doing an engagement session. Also on the mountain with 20,000 other photographers (haha) was such a picturesque scene of a woman painting in the middle of the wild flowers. I had to snap a photo.

Nelson Family

I know it’s been a while since my last update. I will do my best to update this blog more consistently. Recently I had the awesome chance to photograph the Nelson family for the 4th time. Here are just some of my favorites from our session.¬†¬†Brodie wanted it to snow so bad for the photos and mother nature was kind enough to cooperate. And I now have a new favorite place to photograph too.

I will update my blog again soon with more session I have done since I last posted.

Ashley’s Birth Story

I had the amazing opportunity to photograph a birth story earlier this week for Ashley and Josh Grant. This family is amazing! Seriously!

After many years of infertility they adopted a beautiful baby girl. A few years later they got pregnant. Heartbreakingly at 20 weeks Ashley delivered a stillborn baby girl. Less than a year later Ashley was pregnant again. I have never seen someone do more to have a healthy pregnancy. And it worked because Tuesday night at 8:21 pm baby girl Jocelyn was born weighing 7lbs. 2 oz. and 22 inches long. She got her height from her daddy that’s for sure! (he is 6’7). It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever been able to witness. Ashley was all smiles, even through the pain. And when she was in the middle of pushing she looked at Josh and said “so worth it!” Josh agreed and said that everything they had been through was worth it just to get to that moment. I get chills just thinking about it. Thank you Grant family for allowing me to be there during one of the most amazing days in your lives. I am honored to have shared it with you. Love you guys! Enjoy your sneak peek.
